A self-taught musician, Matt Tyner has spent most of his life singing and playing guitar. He enjoys performing solo and collaborating with a variety of talented local musicians, putting together duos, trios, and his band, Don Juan and the Pawnshop Gigolos. Influences like blues great Muddy Waters, alt-Americana legend Tom Waits, rock 'n' roll's elite Rolling Stones, and classic country hero Hank Williams Sr. inspire his original tunes and interpretations. His home base is Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but he'll play anywhere, for any occasion.

Ray Liban

Jessie VanDerWal

Jessie VanDerWal is a singer/songwriter and member of Milwaukee's indie folk-rock band, Soulfoot Mombits. She performs folksy tunes, alternating between delicate fingerpicking and summer-breezy rhythm chords. Her ethereal voice, with intimate, captivating lyrics, carries loftily over her warm guitar sounds.

Sleepy Andy

5:50 PM — Center Street Park

Andrew Gelles, aka Sleepy Andy, is a guitarist/singer/songwriter from Wauwatosa, WI. Music took root early, as his father would play rock 'n' roll in their family home. Andy picked up the guitar around age 11, and by his mid-teens, the sounds of the blues had taken hold — Muddy, Jimi, and the "3 Kings" among others laid a path he would evolve through. Andy calls his music "funky, blue sounds" — a mix of rock, R&B, blues, and music with a groove. His guitar playing can reimagine the six-string legends of the past while still having a sound, feel, and voice all his own.
